Surround Yourself With Beauty From Within You...

Over the years I have developed such a strong love for "beautiful" as I see it...

My sense of style for my creative space has evolved...and it includes more of those

things that make my heart skip a beat when I am surrounded by them.

I am inspired to create...

I am relaxed...

I am happy...

I have found that my heart overflows with what it needs me to see...and touch...

and my hands bring it forth in my surroundings and art.

Many of the things I have are common everyday things that bring about the beauty that makes me smile...from simple curtains cut up for all it's lace and trims to remnants of textured fabrics no one wants...

Beauty can be found anywhere..but first You must find it within You..

Let your heart overflow...

"Fabric Photo Memories by Lovey"

My art features African American women from the 1700's through early 1900's in Fabric. I created this style of art back in 2009 when I was first introduced to collaged fabric art. I have since been published in several magazines, blogs and websites and I am truly blessed by all the love I receive from my blog land friends.... (I love you guys too!)

I have written my first craft book which features my art, as well as tips and tutorials for creating beautiful pieces of your own. There is information about my book in the sidebar :-).
