Today we went to the DC Airshow...It was a beautiful day...sunny with a hint of breeze.

Random Thoughts of Home...

To Inspire....

Well it's nearing the end of the school year and I have been very busy writing IEP's and taking care of end of the year work.  I have not had the time to create like I want but soon I will again.  I also haven't blogged much...just random thoughts like this one.  Once things settle down and come to the end before summer break, I will be back on regularly again.  Please feel free to look over old posts and shoot me a comment from time to time.

All will be right with "my world" very soon...

Pennies...

You have my Heart!

Miss You!

I remember back when I was a little girl, my mom was going through some tough times.   She was a single mom with three children.  I must have been about 9 years old....when I told my mom...

"Mom, I know you are going through some things and I want to help you.  Come to my room for some counseling and bring a penny...that's the cost for my services."  

Seriously...How cute was that?
Well... 

I remember the smile that came upon her face and the tears that fell down her cheeks...
as she hugged me as only she could.

And you know what?

That month...I made a lot of pennies!
(But You know it wasn't so much the pennies though...)

Planting Fun for Mother's Day!

My boys painted ceramic flower pots and a watering can!
They planted wheat grass seeds too!
In 4 days we should have some Wheat Grass...

Proud to Call You...

What a wonderful concept...Mother's Day.  A day to stop and appreciate the love you feel for your mom.  As a mom, I know that my children love me...but a day to show a little more kindness...a little more tenderness...love is...well without a doubt...quite Special Indeed. 

 A mother's love is like a pearl...

It's worth is invaluable.

Precious.

Many of us have had the misfortune of loosing our mom's way too soon.

We miss them.

We love them.

We yearn to tell them our secrets once again.

I know...it hurts.

Hold on though...

They are forever near...

They look upon us with that loving gleam in their eyes.

Till we see them again...

White Powdery Substance Found in Letters!

A White Powdery Substance was sent to several of our DC schools today in Letters!!

My son's school was one of them!!  

Testing is being done to determine what the powder is.

When I arrived to pick him up the Fire Department and Police were there!

He was outside...SAFE.

Join togther with me in prayer that none of our children, 

teachers or staff are in any danger due to this or any other terrorist attack.

"Father God in the Name of Jesus, Protect your children from all harm and danger.  You are King of Kings and You are our Protector.  We are seeking refuge in You.  Send Your Angels to stand guard and continue to keep us safe."

  "In Jesus Name. "

"Amen"
