Anything to do with sewing is just so beautiful to me, there is a right of passage that is handed down from the hands of women from generation to generation... I hope it doesn't stop with this generation. There is such solace in a needle.

I have three of it: one of more than 100 years who comes from my grandmother (and who belonged at first to his aunt); one of the grandmother of my husband (dated 1930, her is in her piece of furniture of origin); and finally a portable ( 1925 ) that gave me a friend. Regrettably as my apartment is small that of my grandmother is in the attic, and I confided(entrusted) that from the grandmother of my husband to her mother, stay in me only the portable which takes less place but a big in my heart!
