Oh how fun! I scrolled down through you photos on the right hand side of your blog! First of all, I gotta say, I am a nikon girl, too! I have used Nikon cameras since 1985! Which brings me to another photo I saw in your photos...was that you in that McDonald's uniform? I wore a very similar uniform in probably 1985? Only our locations opted for the maroon version! I know m mom took a picture of me in that uniform! I need to dig it out! That was a fun memory you brought to the surface for me. Thank you, Lovey!

Lovey, the mere thought of trying to convey my astoundment at the art you create well...I can't. Your use of fabric, lace, photos & love don't need words I guess. The ability to tell a story without language is the true gift of a storyteller. I think one of your ladies needs to come home with me. I want to hear her tell of times unknown to any of us, the pranks & fun she had with friends, the family times that fill her eyes with love. The trials & tribulations that surrounded her. Each one of your pieces has something to say, and I want to hear it! Your Mom! Love the 'fro. And the photo of her in her "church hat", brings back memories from my long ago. I am so sorry you lost her at such an early, early age. But I can tell you are comforted by her, daily. She still sings you to sleep, doesn't she? I am caretaker for my own mother, who has had 4 strokes and is only 67 years. I know one day I will have to let her go to a place that will surround her with gorgeous fabric, scrumptious laces and sparkling gems. She was a seamstress while I was growing up. Heaven may just be made of velvets & brocades! Tina
