Well summer is finally here! I am happy about not having to get up early in the morning, getting dressed and heading off to work. It's nice to take the mornings easy. I feel lighter. There are some changes though with the summer brings new things...new experiences and the purging of old ones. Some doors close like the moving on from my job of 15 years. That is a huge change in my life. I am saddened but at the same time I look forward to what's ahead. That door is closed. A new one has opened and I must embrace it. Some past relationships have ended as well. More doors closed...
I was recently told that I can not please everyone and that sometimes people are only in your life for a season. Man do I hate that one... but I believe that is what has happened to me. I made relationships with people, hoped they'd last but have since watched them dissipate. What bothers me the most about this though is that the relationships have ended because after getting what they could from me, they moved on. Sad right? But truth I speak. Hard lessons sometimes about closed doors but lessons needed regardless. The Bible is clear about this one rather I like it or not.
Well, as I embrace the summer and the changes that come along with it...I thank God for the experiences of the closed doors...and pray His blessings over the New Ones Opened.

Ooh lala...
